Modi will first go to Cyprus, participate in various programs till June 15 and 16. After which Modi will reach Canada where he will meet the heads of the G-7 countries. Prime Minister Modi’s foreign tour will start from June 15, after Cyprus he will visit Canada and then on June 18 he will visit Croatia. Later, he will return to India on the 19th. That is, Modi will travel abroad from June 15 to 19. This visit of the Prime Minister is expected to further strengthen India’s relations with the three countries. This visit of Modi is considered important to build India’s strong position in the European Union and on the global stage. First of all, Modi is going to visit a country called Cyprus, the President of this country, Nikos Christodoulides, had invited Prime Minister Modi for a visit. For the first time in the last two decades, the Prime Minister of India is going to visit Cyprus. Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with the President of Cyprus and hold discussions. After which, Prime Minister Modi will reach Canada on June 16, the G-7 summit is going to be held in Canada for three days, Modi will be a part of this summit for two days. Prime Minister Modi is participating in the G-7 summit for the sixth time. Modi will meet with the heads of the G-7 countries as well as other guest countries. The G-7 countries include seven economically strong countries – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the US and Britain. Modi will also meet the leaders of these countries. During which issues such as energy security, technology and innovation, quantum technology etc. will be discussed. Modi will also participate in a bilateral meeting during this time. Relations between Canada and India have recently been badly affected. It is hoped that this visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will improve relations between the two countries.
