For 108 days, the MP Cricket Tournament concluded with a final match at the city’s Jubilee Ground on Sunday, amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere where day breaks for cricket players and cricket enthusiasts every night, in which Tiger of V emerged victorious against Ma XI. In the Open Kutch Day-Night MP Cricket Tournament organized by Kutch Lok Sabha Parivar and Samaj Navnirman Trust, 8820 players from more than 600 teams graced the Jubilee Ground. 240 players from 16 women’s teams played 15 matches in four days. Kutch’s young MP Vinod Chavda was present during the mega final match and thanked the sports fans for encouraging the players. The `Mega Final’ of Kutch’s biggest open day-night cricket tournament was played today, Sunday, 22-6-2025, in which a grand battle was played between the Ma XI team and the Tiger of V team at 7 pm, in which the Tiger of V was all out for 133 runs in 12 overs. Against them, the Ma XI Bhuj was all out for 100 runs in 11 overs, and the Tiger of V team won by 33 runs. The matches were broadcast live on Dasakshyam Bhavafadmf YouTube. To express enthusiasm and best wishes to the players, famous players of Gujarat, Indian cricketer Harvik Desai, Saurashtra Cricket Association- Ranji Trophy coach Mohanasinh Jadeja, former Ranji Trophy players Sunilbhai Shukal, Maheshbhai Chauhan, Ranji Trophy players Bipinbhai Pujara, Ferozbhai Bambhania, Saurashtra Cricket Academy Board member Mahavirsinh Jadeja were felicitated with shawls. They were present and enjoyed the mega final. During the match of more than 600 teams, the victory cup was presented as a token of respect to the workers and dignitaries who gave their time and support and as an encouragement to both the teams participating in the `mega final’.
