The metro train will arrive at the station every 6.5 minutes during peak hours and every 15 to 20 minutes during normal hours. In the first phase, the metro train will complete 96 round trips between Aarey and BKC every day. 48 people will pilot the train, out of which 10 are women. According to the government, approximately 4 lakh passengers will travel in the first phase of the metro facility every day. The minimum fare to travel in this underground metro is Rs 10 while the maximum fare has been fixed at Rs 50. What will be the benefit? The first phase of Mumbai Metro-3 will reduce the number of vehicles by 6.5 lakh. Traffic on the roads is expected to reduce by 35 percent. Apart from this, about 3.54 lakh liters of fuel are expected to be saved due to Aqualine. Once fully operational between Aarey and Colaba in South Mumbai, Metro-3 will reach the station in about three-four minutes and will carry about 1.3 million passengers daily. It will be able to carry about 2,500 passengers at a time. The normal speed of the metro on the line is 85 kmph, while the average speed will be 35 kmph. Metro Connect 3 App In addition to the ticket counters at the metro stations, passengers will be able to get tickets from the Metro Connect 3 app. This app has been launched with the aim of making the journey of passengers easier and saving time.
