According to the information received, farmer leader Sunita Priyadarshi of Bodepur, Khandasa police station area, had applied under Section 67A of Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code 2006 in November 2021. Her IGRS application number was 40017721003764. After the field investigation, the file was sent for approval, but disappeared from the SDM office. Sunita has been making rounds of the tehsil since December 2021. She also lodged a complaint in Tehsil Samadhan Diwas. Deputy District Magistrate Sudhir Kumar assured of investigation, but no action was taken. After this, Sunita Priyadarshi along with the leaders of Kisan Union had informed the District Magistrate about the entire matter by giving a memorandum addressed to him on July 11 and had said that if our Section 67A file is not found, then a function will be held on July 18. The district and tehsil administration did not take any action, after which the protest is going on today under the leadership of State General Secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ramesh Kumar Tripathi and Tehsil President Shashi Ranjan Tiwari. Tripathi said that neither in the police station nor in the tehsil, their hearing is being done. He also raised the issue of Dhaurahra village of Sohawal tehsil, where the administration has closed the way for the movement of people. Ramesh Kumar Tiwari, while addressing the workers, said that you people tell me, when files are being stolen from the SDM and DM court, is this the real Ram Rajya. People are not getting justice, the victims are making rounds of the police station and tehsil, the eyes of the Milkipur administration are closed even though they are open. A large number of male and female workers including tehsil block officials and senior officials of the district are present in the protest.
