Local people say that this tank is open only in name, while in reality oil is often not available here. Tarkeshwar Dubey, resident of Mathia Alam, says that the arrangement of this tank is very bad. Most of the time the tank is closed or there is no oil. The responsible people do not care. Shailesh Tiwari, resident of Dharmapur, said that this tank has now become a showpiece. Oil is not available here regularly, while people from far-off places come here with confidence. Santosh Gupta of Bir Eeth village alleged that the tank remains open only for formality. At the same time, Abdul, a resident of Akbarpur, said that oil is not available here even in emergency situations, but the board of ‘no oil’ will always be found installed. The local people have demanded from the district administration that appropriate steps should be taken to improve the arrangement of the tank, so that the common people can get relief.
