Then the Congress leader and full MLA of Dhoraji has demanded relaxation of the rules of the rides. Lalit Vasoya said that laws should be made for the safety of the people. The government has entrusted this work to the technical team and made some changes in the rules and the rules should be relaxed a little so that the Hindu people can celebrate the Janmashtami fair with pomp. This is my personal opinion. Lalit Vasoya believes that rules are necessary for the safety of the people. But after the fire incident, the government has made the rules of fitting rides extremely strict, and ride operators have become unemployed and the issue of employment for thousands of people has arisen. Therefore, the government has demanded that the rules be relaxed. However, earlier, BJP leader Vinu Dhawa had also demanded relaxation in the rules. He says that the public fair should be held and it should be held with rides. If necessary, he will also present a proposal to the Chief Minister to give some relaxation in the rules. He said that this public fair is the pride of Saurashtra and Rajkot and those who have objections should stay home. He said that the government and the collector should make some compromises in the papers for the chakari wala, fajar wala and ride wala and give permission to the ride holders. He said that the fair must be held, it will not work without it. This fair is the nose of Saurashtra and Rajkot. It is worth mentioning that due to heavy rains in Rajkot last year, the fair ground was flooded with a large amount of water and the fair could not be held even for a single day. None of the rides could be started. Due to which the ride holders had to suffer huge losses. Secondly, since last year, Rajkot Corporation has tightened the rules for setting up rides as a precaution after the fire incident. Which the ride holders cannot afford. Due to this, there has been a stalemate between the ride holders and the officials for a long time. Which has not been resolved yet. The ride holders are demanding some relaxation in the rules, while on the other hand, the officials, who were burnt due to the fire incident, do not seem to be in the mood to compromise. Due to which the planning of the Janmashtami fair is still in a mess.
