Rath Yatra will be held for the first time in Limbdi today. Lord Jagannathji, Balabhadraji and Subhadraji will perform Nagarcharya.

Limbdi – Today, on the day of Ashadhi Bij, Lord Jagannathji’s Rath Yatra will take place for the first time in Limbdi. Lord Jagannathji, Balabhadraji and Subhadraji will address the town sitting in a chariot prepared at a cost of 50 lakhs. There is great enthusiasm among the citizens regarding the Rath Yatra taking place for the first time in the city. Limbdi Saurashtra Nimbark Peeth Mota Temple had planned to organize the Rath Yatra of Ashadhi Bij for the first time last year. But due to lack of sufficient police staff, the Rath Yatra could not be organized. This year, as the Rath Yatra of Ashadhi Bij has been approved by the administration, the Rath Yatra will begin with the presence of leaders and youth from all walks of life of the city in large numbers. Lord Jagannathji, Balabhadraji and Subhadraji will sit in a chariot and the Rath Yatra will begin from the Saurashtra Nimbark Peeth Mota Temple. A chariot has been built for the god at a cost of 50 lakhs.
