Special meeting held to ensure participation of ex-servicemen in city development Lakhimpur Kheri. A special meeting was organized in the Municipal Office under the chairmanship of Dr. Ira Srivastava, President of Municipal Council Lakhimpur, in which a dialogue was established with the respected retired soldiers of the city. The objective of this meaningful initiative was to ensure active participation of every section of the society in the development of the city. During the meeting, Dr. Ira Srivastava shared detailed information about the development works being conducted and proposed in the city and listened seriously to the suggestions and experiences received from the ex-servicemen. She said that the experience of the brave sons who have served the country can prove invaluable in strengthening the prosperity, security and social structure of the city. Dr. Srivastava appreciated the contribution of the ex-servicemen and also expressed the expectation of their continued cooperation for the betterment of the city. This dialogue was not only an administrative initiative, but also became a symbol of social harmony. On this occasion, dignitaries and prominent public representatives including municipal officials were present. The meeting laid the foundation of an inclusive framework for the future development of the city.
