Following the weather department’s forecast, while a general cloud cover is being seen in Surendranagar district, due to heavy rains in Wadhwan taluka and upper reaches, the Dholidhaja dam, known as Paniyaru of Saurashtra, which supplies water to the surrounding villages including Surendranagar urban area, overflowed and overflowed from a level of 0.05 feet, and the authorities became aware. When the Dholidhaja Dam overflowed, the people of the villages in the low-lying areas of the dam including Bhadiyad, Joravarnagar, Khamisna, Nana Kerala, Ratanpar, Sankli, Wadhwan, Surendranagar, Shiani, Natwargarh, Dolatpar were urged by the administration not to move in the riverbed and to be careful.
