Survey of buildings posing a threat to Surat Airport begins after Ahmedabad plane crash

Surat Airport: After the Ahmedabad plane crash, the controversy over the building that is a nuisance to Surat Airport has come to the fore once again. However, the municipality had given the NOC of the nuisance building to the Surat Airport building after the Airport Authority gave it BU permission. Since the case was going on in the court after the dispute over this building, the residents got a stay in the court, so the government decided to present a representation in the court to remove the stay. The Surat Airport Authority has started a survey of 5 out of 6 nuisance buildings near the airport. Currently, the survey work of the Just Residency building has not been done. The survey work will be completed in the next two days. Survey work was carried out on Florence Co.O. Housing Society, Sarjan Apartment, Floona Building, Ravi Ratnam and Elanti Building adjacent to Surat Airport. After the survey work, marking action will be taken in the nuisance part.
