The country’s temperature increased by 8-13°C in 7 days

The intense heat wave continues across the country. In the last seven days, the temperature has increased by 8 to 13 degrees Celsius across the country. On Tuesday, Bathinda in Punjab was the hottest place in the country with 47.6 degrees. On Tuesday, Sirsa in Haryana recorded a temperature of 46.2 degrees. The mercury in Ahmedabad reached 42 degrees. The effect of heat and heatwave continues in Rajasthan too. On Tuesday, 3 cities in Rajasthan recorded a temperature of 46 degrees or more. Sri Ganganagar recorded 47.4 degrees Celsius, Kota 46.3 degrees Celsius and Bikaner recorded 46 degrees. There is a heat alert for two days in the northern states of the country – Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 43.8°C, but the heat felt like 47°C. On Wednesday, the temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 45°C.
