Fatehpur. Today, the Kotwali police arrested the woman friend of the main accused in the case of the murder of a young man being found in a closed house in Pani Mohalla of Sadar Kotwali police station area in the month of May, from near Shadipur crossing of the city and sent her to jail. According to the information, Mrs. Anjali, wife of Kundan Ram, age 29 years, resident of B-138 A, B Block Sanjay Colony Bhati Mines Fatehpur Beri of Nebsaran police station area of South Delhi district, was arrested by the Kotwali police on the information of an informer from in front of the PWD colony gate in Shadipur of the city at 10:15 am. Kotwali in-charge inspector Tarkeshwar Rai said that the woman is a friend of the accused Suraj Soni, who is imprisoned in jail. During the investigation, the name of the woman has come to light. He said that the woman has been sent to jail. It is worth noting that on May 18, the Kotwali police had recovered the murdered body of an unknown young man from a closed house in Pani Mohalla. Later, the youth was identified as Mahendra Kumar son of Bachan Singh, resident of Mauhar police station Kalyanpur, presently residing at Kalikan Road Ahmedganj. The police team engaged in the investigation of the incident arrested the main accused Suraj Kumar Soni, age 25 years, resident of Purvi Pani, during an encounter on May 26 and sent him to jail. Other police personnel along with the Kotwali in-charge inspector were present in the arresting team.
