Ambadas Pawar from Hadolti village has two and a half acres of land, his daughter is married, and his son earns his living by doing small and big odd jobs in Pune. Since the economic situation is weak, where will he get the money to buy an ox to plow the field? So, Ambadas Pawar and his elderly wife Shantabai decided to plow the field by joining hands with the plough. Ambadas Pawar said that since we do not have the money to buy an ox or to rent a tractor, we have been plowing the field like this for the last two years. My hands are shaking, my legs are wobbling under the load and I have severe pain in my neck and back. But, I cannot even afford to rent an ox. I cannot even dream of renting a tractor. The prices of seeds and fertilizers have increased in the past two years. There is nothing left behind. However, to feed the family, we have to go into debt and overturn the cart. I have a debt of 40 thousand, we appeal to the government to waive the debt and help. Otherwise, the government has not helped even a single penny so far. Many people shared this video of his on social media. People also said that it is a great shame that a man is forced to plow himself instead of an animal.
