Unique AI-powered hospital at Tsinghua University in China

The AI Research Department of China’s Tsinghua University has built the world’s first AI-powered hospital. This hospital has been named Agent Hospital. This AI agent has been built to diagnose diseases quickly. This will reduce the workload of doctors. It will be possible to treat many patients in a day. This virtual hospital, built by university researchers, has 14 AI doctors and 4 AI nurses. This team of doctors and nurses has the capacity to diagnose the diseases of three thousand patients in 24 hours. Due to this AI hospital, patients will get relief from the time it takes to make an appointment with human doctors. The option of treatment will open up quickly. This hospital is an online platform in a way. It has 21 clinical departments. In this AI-powered hospital, various diseases of patients are quickly identified and AI doctors also make a treatment plan. From identifying symptoms of the disease to making an accurate diagnosis, treatment and following up with the patient after recovery – all these steps can be done by AI doctors. The university researchers, however, clarified that these AI doctors cannot replace human doctors, but they can definitely help them. The researchers expressed optimism that this will make the health care system better.
