Villagers protest by surrounding teachers regarding the merged school

Fatehpur. In the sequence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s decision to close schools, a case of primary school Bhatpurwa of Bhitora education area has come to light in the district, where the teachers who had gone to close the school were held hostage in the school by the villagers and slogans were raised against the school closure. On Thursday morning, as soon as the villagers got the information about two teachers who had come to close the Bhatpurwa school of Bhitora education area under the process of school merger, all the men and women of the village reached the school. After being held hostage, the teachers kept calling the responsible officials of the department, but according to the teachers, no officer received the call. In protest against the merger of council schools, the teachers who reached the school in Bhatpurwa village of Bhitora block education area were locked and imprisoned by the villagers. The villagers gathered outside the school kept raising slogans. The villagers are not ready to send their children to schools outside the village.
