An allegation of demanding a ransom of two crore rupees from a builder involved in the construction sector came to light. In June 2024, a conspiracy complaint was filed against seven people including Kirti Patel. Kirti Patel, who has been absconding for the last ten months, has been arrested by the police from Ahmedabad. An allegation of demanding a ransom of two crore rupees from a builder involved in the construction sector came to light. In June 2024, a conspiracy complaint was filed against seven people including Kirti Patel. Kirti Patel, who has been absconding for the last ten months, has been arrested by the police from Ahmedabad. Kirti Patel was produced before the Surat District Court by the Kapodra Police. The court has ordered her to be sent to judicial custody in Lajpore Jail. This is being considered as Kirti Patel’s second jail entry. Changing the IP address of the phone to hide her whereabouts Kirti Patel, known for her obscene language on social media, used to hide in various areas of Gujarat to avoid the police and repeatedly changed the IP address of her mobile phone to hide her whereabouts. Complaints of assault, honeytrap, extortion and land grabbing have also been registered among the criminal acts. Even when the police were bringing Kirti Patel into custody, she was smiling and giving a message to make a video and go viral while sitting in the police van. This clearly shows that her attitude has remained clear even after her arrest. Insulting videos and reels on social media In this case, the complainant Vaju Katrodia said that in the backdrop of his Panding court case with Vijay Savani, he was blackmailed by Kirti Patel and his associates. Insulting videos and reels were posted against him on social media. There is also an allegation of abusing the complainant and his family live. Kirti Patel and his associates called Vaju Katrodia to a farmhouse in Kosmadi Patiya area of Surat and gave him an intoxicant in cold drinks. Later, he was blackmailed by making pictures and videos of him and threatened to make the pictures viral on social media if he did not pay two crore rupees. The complaint has been told in detail to the Kapodra police that this conspiracy was pre-planned and the involvement of all the accused including Kirti Patel is clear. The police have started investigating all aspects and further action is underway. Vaju Katrodia has alleged in the complaint that when he did not give the money he demanded, Kirti Patel and Vijay Savani misused various social media platforms to hatch an obscene and despicable conspiracy against him. It is alleged that both of them posted entire stories making disgusting allegations like rape against Vaju Katrodia’s daughters and wife. After this incident of cyber and mental harassment, Vaju Katrodia filed a detailed complaint at the Kapodra police station. Based on this, Vijay Savani was arrested by the police in 2024. Kirti Patel and other accused were declared wanted. Kirti Patel has been lodged in Lajpore Jail after her arrest.
